Prep Time: 15 mins
Cooking Time: 3-4 mins
Servings: 4

Ingredients

Spice mixture for the Oysters

1 Cup Paprika
½ Cup Chili Powder
2T +2t Cumin
2T +2t Coriander
2T +2t Sugar
2T +2t Salt
1 ½ T Dry Mustard
1 ½ T Black pepper
1 ½ T Dried Thyme
1 ½ T Curry powder
1 ½ T Cayenne pepper
2 1/2 cups Flour

Preparation

Mix all Spice Ingredients. I always make this spice mixture ahead, place it in the fridge and just use each accordingly to how many oysters you serve. Don't put the used spice mixture back into the spice mix.

Clean oysters to create nice bite size oyster

Roll into spice mixture and into a frying pan with butter for about three minutes.

Serve on spoon with some Blue Cheese mix or wasabi/mayonnaise mixed on top of finely cut raw spinach. Note: In the video, Chef Hartmut used a mixture of blue cheese under the barbecued oyster, Chef Nick sometimes creates a mixture of mayonnaise and wasabi.

We serve each guest two oysters.
